Lizardman Army - Cold Blooded Lizardmen (3 dice leadership test) Special Rule

Lizardmen Saurus, Kroxigor, Terradons, Salamanders, Stegadons and even Skinks (even though skinks are actually amphibians and not really lizards !) benefit from being cold-blooded.
This means they can roll 3D6 instead of 2D6 for ALL leadership tests (yep, fear, terror, panic, break, rally - every Ld test infact).

Now this is extremely "cool" for Lizardmen. The table on the right shows a comparison between rolling "less than or equal to" on 2D6 and 3D6.

Saurus and Temple Gaurd have a leadership of 8, if they were rolling with 2D6 they would pass about 3 out of 4 dice rolls. But because they are rolling on 3D6 they pass almost 9 out of 10 rolls !

Over the course of a battle this is a massive advantage (as a rule of thumb Lizardman leadership is 2 pts more effective) Eg. A lizardman unit with leadership 7 is equivalent to any other army unit with a leadership 9.
Therefore rejoice if you are playing a Lizardman army and beware if you are facing one.
