Vampire Counts Zombies Sprue Photos (very close up pictures)

I got the Battalion boxed set and thought you might like to see what the Zombies look like (I have already posted picks of the skeletons and crypt ghouls and you can find longer range shots of them on the GW site aswell).

Note: These Zombie Sprues are not new for the 7th Edition Vampire Counts Boxed Set, they have been in production for some years.

You get 4 large sprues, each one contains all the bits you need to make 5 zombies (so 20 zombies altogether)

For the detail lovers amongst you, here are some of the zombie sprue contents (you get a standard on each one by the way)


hand weapons...

1 spear
1 "home made" halberd
1 hay fork
1 scythe
1 tree branch
1 large knife
1 very serrated curved knife
1 leg bone !
1 leg (including ankle and foot !!!)

there are a couple of other right arms without weapons. Also there are 7 left arms (maybe 8 if you use the one which looks like it fits on the top of the standard)

also...

a nice standard with 2 heads hanging from it (tied together by their hair), a large bell hanging from a chain and a skeleton hanging from it's neck :)

5 different legs (one excellent one with a broken looking leg being dragged along - very "Night of the Living Dead" like)

5 different torsos (one with guts exposed - should paint up nicely)

8 heads
