I have been working hard on a new race / army list for use in Warhammer Fantasy Battle games. They're called the Nauticans and are an ocean dwelling race of intelligent humanoids backed by armies of sea creatures.
I have completed the core, special and rare unit lists and the army wide special rules. The characters and magical items are both work in progress.
I will be posting details of the new blogsite here on Sunday 27th July. For the meantime here's a taster:-
Some of the Nautican units:-
- Lobstermen
- Mariner Souls
- Deep Guard
- Sandgangers
- Giant Octopus
- Kraken
Some special Nautican weaponry:-
Tridents - cause fear in cavalry
Kraken Scale shields - magic resistance (1)
Some Nautica army wide rules:-
Sea Storms (d3 turns) - reduce enemy movement and Bs and makes gunpowder weapons wet and unusable for one turn on a roll of 6
