How to beat a Wood Elf army with High Elves (the intro)

I will soon be putting my new High Elf army to the test against my friends Wood Elf host.

I will of course be video blogging the event and provide all the stats and key action on this very site.

In the meantime, I thought I'd share my plans with my readers. I am, of course, anticipating a resounding victory :)

I know nothing about my friend's army other than he purchased a Treeman which, I assume he will use.

So here goes...

In this fight I plan to be the aggressor and as such I will consider my strengths because my plan is to exploit my opponent's weaknesses to the full.

First off, I have superior rank and file hand to hand skills and an abundance of special units to choose from.

Also, I will have the edge over him magically.

He of course will recognise this so I fully expect him to try outmaneuver me, to charge into my flanks and rain down as many arrows as possible before the fight begins.

Another big factor now is that I can march my troops to within charge distance and not worry about losing the 1st attack if my enemy charges me because... I will always strike first !
