Warp-Lightning Cannon Rules & Tactics KABOOM ! (Skaven Warhammer Tactics)

Wow ! What an awesome piece of Warhammer Fantasy kit.

Deadly is a word that springs to mind. Unreliable yes (although not too unreliable), effective yes, very and sometimes even when it misfires :)

In my opinion, this is a must include rare unit. It oozes character and that lovely randomness of all out Fantasy war fare.

Here's why

8 D6 range (which could mean 8 inches or 48 inches but will average out aat 28 inches)

Strength from 2 - 10 (the artillery dice) or a 1/6 chance of misfiring. A successful shot will give an average str of 6 !

If it does misfire there's a 2/3 chance of a 48 inch Str 10 (!) bolt of pure warp lighting going in a totally random direction.

I mean how cool is this baby ?!

Wheel it up with it's move of 5" close to the enemy (but away from any flyers) behind an unbreakable swarm and maybe some cheap clan rats to protect it's flanks.

Then... Let rip !

Any Skaven general who leaves this at home has lost his Skaven soul. Bring it on for some random mayhem.

Damn, it looks like I might be investing in a new army :)
