The TK's arcane items are not that impressive when you consider how the whole undead army coarses with magic.
One item does stand out a little more than the others though.
The Staff of Mastery very simply allows the spellcaster to add +1 to the Power Level rolled. This is continual, turn after turn. The longer the battle the more you will benefit from this. That is the enemy will be using up more and more dispel scrolls / dice to stop your incantations.
I think this item is worth taking for 40pts if you are playing with an emphasis on Liches and Liche Lords and /or you are using the High Queen and a ranged weapon approach rather than hand to hand.
