A great White Dwarf for 40k fans, it's packed full of stuff including a 28 page campaign / battle report called "Battle for Black Reach". There is also a nice 12 page Council of Elrond article for LOTR fans including 2 scenarios "The Three Hunters" and "Defence of Rivendell".
All is not lost for Fantasy fans, there's some decent content but not loads of it, here's a brief review...
New Black Library Books
Brief summaries and cover pictures of 2 new Black Library Books; "Nagash the Scorcerer" by Phil Kelly and "Empire in Chaos" by Anthony Reynolds.
Chaos Warriors
Details about the new Chaos Warriors book by Phil Kelly. Including mentions of Chaos Warshrines, Forsaken, Troll Kings (!) and Sigvald (?). New boxed sets include Marauder Horsemen, Chaos Knights and Chaos Warhounds plus new character metal miniatures.
There will be a Chaos Warriors preview in White Dwarf 347.

PC/Xbox - Battle March
Details of forthcoming game (which includes 6 races, Orcs & Goblins, Empire, High Elves, Skaven, Dark Elves and Chaos - 100 unit types !). Emphasis on battle rather than resource management, also highly customisable units.

New Rules
Warhammer Raids, 6 pages (1st article of 2) of new rules for burning, plundering and enslaving enemies. For fast moving forces (example given is a 2000pt Dark Elf army)
Rules include:- setting fires, taking prisoners, looting and watchtowers.
