...yep, that's what this issue of White Dwarf is all about. Sure there are some other bits and pieces but it's predominantly about the new LOTR standalone rules *

    apologies for lack of Warhammer Blogging and GW News updates

    If you're a regular reader thanks for visiting & apologies for lack of gaming updates over the past week - also lack of Battle Reports and Nautican updates.

    I've been fighting for control of my PC with a Daemon of Tzeentch. I think I have purged the machine of Daemonic magics but I'm not sure. Something's going on in there because it takes 5 minutes to boot up now. Possibly a meddling snotling or something, I'm online again anyway - for now !

    Normal service will resume shortly - hopefully (maybe I should send a slayer in to sort it out ?)

    PS. If you follow the blog you might not be in the blog readers list (bottom right of blog) anymore, feel free to add yourself again. Sorry, I think I deleted everyone. It didn't seem to be working so I added the widget again and now I'm the only follower :(It looks ok again now, I don't know what that was all about ?!

    Warhammer Battle Reporter Forum gets into WHFRP !

    We've made some changes & added content to our Warhammer Fantasy forum


    The facelift... the forum has been reordered a bit to help everyone find what they're looking for and to keep it tidy - that's the house work news done :)

    The best bit...

    ... is the new Fantasy Roleplay section that's just been created. Son of Khaine is our WHFRP moderator and he's kicked off a Dwarf RPG in the The Ox's Face tavern. It looks like fun, if you're interested then everything you need to know is in the:-

    They're still in the tavern bar right now so all you need to do is make up a character and come inside for a pint :)

    Big Nautican Army update this weekend

    The Nauticans (unofficial) Warhammer Army online list is getting some new units

    Let me introduce you to one of them... the Crest Riders (or "Cresters"):-
    The Nautican army's fast cavalry equivalents (although they only get one "Wave charge" per battle but it does cause impact hits !)

    The Nautican Army gets an awesome colour book cover

    a superb Warhammer Fantasy Battle book cover for the unofficial Nautican Army

    Gareth Pannan, a talented artist in Australia has kindly completed a colour book cover for the Nautican army. In the foreground, emerging from the waves, are some of the army units. In the background, the King of the Seas rises into the "surface dwellers" world.
