Ogre Kingdom Rare Units. Maneaters.

Maneaters are extremely hard and you can deploy as many as you like as a rare unit choice (80 pts per Maneater)

These guys make a very impressive strike unit if you manage to charge them into combat. They also have a broad range of weapon options including:-

1) the Cathayan longsword (an Ogre Samarai sword with +1 Init and +1 Ws). Useful against initiative 3 or 4 opponents to allow you to strike first or have an equal chance of striking first.
2) Great Weapons for, wait for it, 4 attacks of Ws 4 strength 7 !
3) a brace of pistols (don't bother with these because you have better options)

A twist on the usual rules is that Maneaters can pick their own weapons from the above, the unit does not have to be consistently armed throughout.

Special Rules
These big fellas are scary, they are immune to psychology, have the Bull Charge (although they are too expensive to make the most of it with multiple ranks) and best of all they're stubborn with a leadership of 8 !!!

For 80 pts + equipment (ie 90 pts) these Maneaters are a steal ! Their only weakness is their relatively low toughness of 4 so you should always give them heavy armour for 4 points)

Before deciding whether they should be included in a 2000 pts army we will look at the other special units.

Note: definitely include them, in numbers (!), in 3000 pt + battles.
