Warhammer Battle Reports 7th / 8thNauticans / Design Fantasy Gallery

The cheapest, quickest and easiest route into the Games Workshop arhammer Fantasy Battle World ?

It has to be Ogres surely !?

Ogres are :-

1) One of the simplest armies to understand and get your head around

2) One of the easiest armies to paint (fewer 'niggly' bits to come to terms with)

3) One of the quickest to collect and assemble - fewer models required.

4) Definitely the easiest and quickest to maneuver around the battle field.

5) The simplest magic ? Probably.

It has to be said that, while they don't have as much success in tournaments (probably due to the lack of enthusiasm about using Ogres). They must surely be the best way into the Warhammer World for a novice who is keen on painting an army quickly, spending the least amount of cash andd getting into the thick of the fighting asap.

I can't think of a better army really. Can you ?
